Tayo Sa Huling Buwan Ng Taon is a film by the same director that brought us 2014's Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa, director Nestor Abrogena. The movie is produced by the same house that brought us, HENERAL LUNA , I'm Drunk, I Love You. Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral and Kung Paano Siya Nawala, TBA Studios.


Most of Tayo Sa Huling Buwan Ng Taon's followers knew that it is a sequel movie to #AKND. It followed the story of Sam played by Nicco Manalo and Isa played by Emmanuelle Vera , now living separate lives.









Most sequel failed to live by the success of its predecessor, well not for this one. #TAYO live up to be a standalone film, meaning you can go watch it even without seeing the first one.

The movie has a very artistic narrative, mixed with a humble yet stunning cinematography, color palette is also outstanding, without being too colorful. Unlike other films that the color is too vibrant to the point na parang hindi mo na maramdaman yung eksena dahil naagaw na nung kulay yung atensyon mo. But with #TAYO the color allows you to feel different emotions. There were scenes that all you can here is your own thoughts, and that's the magic of Abrogena's story-telling.

The Characters..

Nanood ako ng pelikula na alam ang kwento nina Sam at Isa mula sa AKND, I thought I knew everything, but hell no.
They're not your perfect characters na normal sa mga rom-com movies. They're flawed, and that makes them realistic and easy to relate with. They may be YOU or your friend, or maybe someone you knew. The movie will allow you to bank on the characters without hating the other. Maybe hate the situation but not the character.
Yung mga eksena nila, mapapangiti ka kasi at some point, nangyari sa’yo yun. Masasabi mo na oo ganyan nga yan. At oh! ganun pala yun kapag ganun yung nangyari. 

I must say, #TayoSaHulingBuwanNgTaon is Raw, unapologetic yet humble, most of all it’s a masterpiece! This is the kind of movie that you’ll look back years after, to reflect on something. Siguro ngayong kung 20 ka at hindi ka pa nagkakaroon ng karelasyon or maybe first mo, pwedeng hindi mo pa masyado ramdam yung pelikula, okay lang ‘yan, maybe two or five years from now balikan mo ulit, baka doon sa oras na ‘yun may nagbago na sa’yo. Baka naranasan mo nang maging si Sam, Isa, Frank or si Anna!

Soundtrack.

Soundtrack is A-plus! Superb especially the theme song. “Huling Sandali” by December Avenue.

Take Away/s:

1. People are flawed, but they are capable and worthy.
2. Time and timing, that’s all we need.
3. May mga pintuang nagsara na dapat ay manatiling nakasara na lang.
4. Kahit ano’ng iwas ang gawin mo, hindi ka makakatakas lalo na kapag hindi ka pa tapos.
5. Walang tama at mali sa larangan ng pagmamahal ang mali lang? Ang pagkakataon.

#KuwaresmaMovie a film by Erik Matti and released under Globe Studios and Reality Entertainment, which happens to be The Megastar, Sharon Cuneta’s first ever horror movie. The film talks about how dark our mind could be. Firstly, The story was set on the late 1980’s which is about the horror inside Fajardo’s Residence. We in INDIE Pelikula / Cine Silip, enjoyed the story-telling and how twisted it was. Technical aspects: The sound effects worked for us. We simply lose track on how many times we screamed.  Thus, we even tried to tuck ourselves in our seats because of the (terrifying and melancholic) sounds. I, personally, look around to check our surroundings again-that is how beautiful, effective, and terrifying the sounds were. As for its visuals, we agreed that it was outstanding! Before the year ends and before the MMFF 2019  begin here's our list of "Must Watch Filipino Movies in 2019" in no particular order. A. John Denver Trending Named as 2019 Cinemalaya Best Film.  A story of a boy who's a victim of a trending video on facebook about bullying. Condez' effectively shown the audience the impact of misjudgment and bullying. Soriano, who played the mother to the lead actor, Jansen Magpusao was very effective. The newcomer, Magpusao was named the Best Actor of the festival. B. Sila - Sila Sila-Sila, a simple film about our connection to the people around us. The movie doesn't have the usual big confrontational scene, yet you'll find yourself noding in almost every scene. Though the lead characters are gay, it still resonate across all genders and that is the magic of Sila-Sila.
